Isabella Barrett was born in New Jersey, but split her childhood between Utah, Arizona, and Liège, Belgium. She attended Belmont Abbey Honors College in North Carolina, graduating with degrees in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Isabella began attending the University of Oklahoma College of Law in June 2022.
While in law school, she was involved with numerous student organizations, including the Federal Bar Association, the Oklahoma International Law Society, and the Luther Bohannon Inns of Court. She served as a student mentor, class representative in the Student Bar Association, and a delegate to the United Nations’ Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (UN CERD) in Geneva, Switzerland. Isabella participated in competition teams, ranking 3rd nationally in Arbitration and was nominated and selected to the Order of Solicitors.
Isabella has clerked with law firms in Paris, France and Brussels, Belgium, gaining valuable experience in various types of law. She interned for Judge David B. Lewis on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, sparking her desire to obtain a student legal license (LLI) in Oklahoma and Kansas, allowing her to complete a full criminal jury trial during her second-year summer. She looks forward to working with health care professionals and defending them zealously both in and out of the courtroom.
